Antique Helvetia Pocket Watch – ca. 1930s
A fine antique Swiss pocket watch by Helvetia, a well-regarded maker of quality timepieces. The watch features a gold-tone dial with raised Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, and “Antimagnetique” text on the dial. Elegant gilt hands add to its refined appearance. The watch comes complete with a matching 14K gold chain and black ribbon fob.
The case is solid 14K gold (0.585), hallmarked inside both covers, with serial numbers and Swiss gold control marks. The fob chain is also in 14K gold, adding to the watch’s value and elegance. The movement is a Swiss manual wind, finely constructed and running on jewels.
