Antique Swiss Silver Pocket Watch – ca. early 1900s
A fine antique Swiss pocket watch housed in a solid 0.800 silver case. The inside is hallmarked with crown and silver mark "0.800" along with serial number 493494. The movement is inscribed: "Levees Visibles, Ancre Ligne Droite, 15 Rubis, Spiral Breguet, Balancier Compensé, Double Plateau." This indicates a 15-jewel Swiss lever movement with Breguet hairspring, compensated balance and double roller – hallmarks of quality early 20th century watchmaking.
The dial is white enamel with black numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. It shows a chip near 8 o’clock but remains legible and charming.
