Striking vintage polar bear figurine produced by Porsgrund Porcelain Factory in Norway, circa 1970s. This large Scandinavian wildlife sculpture captures a polar bear in motion, standing confidently on an icy base with beautifully modeled anatomical detail.
The piece is finished in a glossy white glaze with subtle blue grey shading that enhances the sculpted fur and base. Hand painted facial accents give the bear a lifelike expression. The underside bears the Porsgrund factory mark.
