Antique Swiss Silver Pocket Watch – ca. late 19th century
A fine antique Swiss pocket watch with sterling silver case and classic white enamel dial featuring Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. This example is a key wind and key set design, complete with antique winding key. The movement is protected by a hinged silver case back with hallmarks and serial number, attesting to its authenticity and period craftsmanship.
The silver case has elegant guilloche-style engine turning on the back, with a blank cartouche for personal engraving. Inside, the gilt movement shows simple decoration, typical of late 19th century Swiss pocket watches.
