A vintage Certina wristwatch from the 1940s–1950s, featuring the well-made Certina calibre 28-15 manual wind movement with 17 jewels. The movement is signed “Certina 28-15 – 17 Jewels – Swiss” and shows its original ruby jewels clearly.
The dial presents a cream center with a contrasting black outer ring, Arabic numerals, gilt hands, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. It shows attractive patina and spotting consistent with its mid-century age.
The stainless steel screw-back case is marked “Certina – Swiss – Inoxydable.” The watch runs when wound, though accuracy has not been tested and a service is recommended for daily use. The original period leather strap is included, heavily worn but authentic to its era.
