Vintage Norwegian Bentwood Tine Box – dated 1944
A charming small Norwegian folk art tine box, handmade of steam-bent wood with pegged joinery. The front is inscribed “Asta” and dated 24-7-1944, surrounded by traditional rosette and dotted pyrography motifs. Such tines were often gifted on special occasions and filled with small keepsakes.
