This antique WW1-era trench wristwatch is an early pocket-watch-to-wristwatch conversion, a historical type used by soldiers and officers in the early 1900s. It features a 0.800 silver case (crown hallmark), enamel dial, wire lugs, and a manual Swiss mechanical movement.
The watch ticks and runs. The movement shows old service markings, but the exact service date is unknown. As with all antique timepieces, accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
The enamel dial shows age, including a crack and an old repair. The crystal has been replaced in more recent times—now a later plastic crystal—but it suits the watch well and preserves the correct vintage appearance. The wire lugs and solder points show authentic age, and the leather strap is a later but vintage replacement.
