A rare and historically significant Patek Philippe Naviquartz E1200 desk chronometer — an iconic instrument from Patek Philippe’s early quartz era. Introduced at the 1970 Basel Fair, the Naviquartz was originally designed as a high-precision navigation chronometer for ships and yachts, later becoming a symbol of prestige on executive desks around the world.
This example, serial number 1 803833, features the classic brushed aluminum front, polished frame, and the distinctive black instrument-style dial with jumping seconds. The in-house quartz movement (33QZ generation) is known for exceptional stability and precision. The clock ticks and runs when fitted with batteries.
The backplate retains all original markings, including the calibration panel with 1 Hz test mode, seconds control, frequency adjustment, and stop function. Battery specification shows 3 × 1.5V UM1 (D-cell). Batteries are **not included** due to shipping regulations.
