This vintage Timex Automatic wristwatch for men was produced in Great Britain and dates to the early to mid 1970s. It features a mechanical automatic movement housed in a distinctive TV-shaped case measuring approximately 35 mm without the crown.
The silver sunburst dial is fitted with applied hour markers and a clear day and date display at three o’clock, shown here as “WED 27.” The dial is signed Timex Automatic and marked Water Resistant, with “Great Britain” printed at the bottom, confirming British production.
The watch is currently running, keeps time, and adjusts smoothly. Service history is unknown. It is fitted with a newer black leather strap and is accompanied by a green pouch, as shown in the photos.
