This vintage metal tin box was produced in Norway by Stabburet Hermetikkfabrikk during the 1950s and features Disney’s Dopey together with all seven dwarfs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The oval tin is decorated with bright original illustrations, with Dopey prominently displayed on the side and a lively dining scene on the lid.
Originally used for a sweet spread known as “Dopey søtpålegg,” these tins were also commonly reused as lunchboxes. The piece shows honest signs of use, including surface wear and marks, which contribute to its stunning color patina and authentic vintage appeal.
