This vintage Norwegian pewter drinking horn was designed by Aksel Holmsen, one of Norway’s most respected metal artists, known for his Viking-inspired decorative objects. The horn is crafted in pewter and features richly embossed ornamentation with traditional Nordic knotwork and geometric motifs.
It is supported by three small animal paw-shaped feet, giving the piece stability and a sculptural quality. A matching pewter lid completes the design.
