Vintage Norwegian pewter Viking ship made as a small salt cellar, complete with a matching pewter spoon. The piece is formed as a stylized Norse longship with raised dragon head ends and decorative shield motifs along the hull.
Produced in the 1970s, this item combines decorative appeal with functional use. The pewter has developed a soft patina over time, consistent with age. The spoon is clearly stamped “Norway,” while the underside of the ship bears a faint maker’s mark.
A compact and distinctive Scandinavian table piece that works equally well as a salt dish, small serving vessel, or display object.
