Vintage Eumig Viennette 5 Super 8 film camera, produced in Austria between 1969 and 1973 and widely praised for its robust, award-winning design. This example is dated 12.05.1972 and represents a classic piece of European film-making history.
The camera is fitted with a Vario-Viennar f/1.8 zoom lens with an 8–40mm focal range and offers both electric and manual zoom control. It supports filming speeds of 18 and 24 frames per second, as well as single-frame shooting. Automatic exposure adjusts to lighting conditions, and the ergonomic pistol-grip design allows intuitive handling, with the camera activating naturally when held.
This camera has been function-tested with batteries and powers on correctly. It has not been tested with film. The condition is very good, showing only minimal storage wear. The battery compartment is exceptionally clean and appears unused. The set includes the original carrying case and accompanying manuals and documents, as shown.
