This vintage Norwegian tin lunch box dates to the 1950s and was produced for a candy factory in Porsgrunn. The rectangular metal box features folding side handles and bold Scandinavian folk art decoration with floral motifs, crescent moons and a central silhouette emblem.
The red background combined with blue and white detailing gives it strong Nordic character. Originally used as a lunch or storage box, today it works beautifully as decorative storage or as part of an advertising or Scandinavian collection.
The surface shows honest use wear and developed patina that only decades of age can create, especially on the lid and metal handles.
