Antique Danish wall barometer with integrated thermometer, dating to approximately 1890–1910. A classic Scandinavian Art Nouveau piece featuring a beautifully carved wooden frame with flowing organic floral motifs typical of the Jugendstil period.
The dial includes traditional Danish weather terms such as Storm, Regn, Foranderligt, Smukt and Meget Smukt. The thermometer is positioned above the barometer and displays degrees Celsius.
The instrument has not been formally tested for calibration. It responds and currently indicates fair weather, and the thermometer shows a reading close to a modern digital comparison. Sold as a decorative antique scientific instrument.
