Authentic NyForm Troll model 102, known as “Old Man with Hat and Staff,” produced in the 1980s. This is considered one of the larger standard trolls in the NyForm collection.
Designed by Trygve Torgersen and handmade in Norway, each figure is individually molded and hand-painted. No two trolls are exactly alike, giving every piece its own personality and facial expression.
NyForm trolls are made from natural latex (rubber tree sap) combined with natural materials. The material is durable and develops a natural patina over time, adding character and depth to vintage examples like this one.
