Authentic Fosse Form Troll art number 112 portraying a loving troll mother holding her child in a close embrace. This model is one of the classic family-themed designs from the 1980s.
Fosse trolls were created by artist Sven Schulze and produced in Norway, originally in the Kragerø area (Vadfoss, later Eklund). During the 1980s and 1990s, these figures became highly popular Scandinavian collectibles and souvenirs.
Unlike NyForm trolls, Fosse trolls are made from a heavier blend of chalk and clay (resin) with latex as binder, resulting in a solid weight and rustic surface. Each piece is individually hand-painted, giving every troll unique facial expression and tonal variation.
