Authentic Fosse Troll model 420, often called the “TV Troll.” This humorous figure shows a laid-back troll lounging in a chair while watching television carved from a tree stump, remote control in hand. A charming mix of Nordic folklore and modern everyday life.
Produced around 2002, during a period when Fosse trolls combined traditional Scandinavian folk art with contemporary themes. These figures were created by artist Sven Schulze and are no longer in regular production, making them desirable collector pieces today.
Unlike soft NyForm latex trolls, Fosse trolls are made from a heavier blend of chalk, clay and resin, giving them a solid, rustic feel. Each piece is hand painted and finished with unique facial expression details and faux fur hair.
