This NyForm troll couple figure shows a troll boy and troll girl sitting together on a wooden log, gently holding hands. The design captures the playful and romantic side of Norwegian folklore and is one of the recognizable couple figures produced by Ny Form.
NyForm trolls were originally designed by Norwegian artist Trygve Torgersen and production began in 1964. Each figure is individually molded and hand painted, giving every troll a unique personality and expression.
All NyForm trolls are handmade using natural latex from rubber tree sap combined with other natural materials. Over time the material develops a natural patina that collectors appreciate.
