This vintage Norwegian troll figurine is the well known Fosse Troll model 301, often referred to as the Fisherman with Net. The troll wears a traditional fisherman’s hat and holds a small fishing net, giving the figure a humorous coastal character inspired by Norwegian fishing culture.
Fosse Troll figures were produced in Norway and modeled by sculptor Sven Schulze. The figures are handmade using chalk and clay with latex binder and finished with expressive glass eyes and natural hair details that give each troll its own personality.
With its distinctive fisherman theme and classic Nordic folklore appearance, this figure represents one of the recognizable vintage Fosse Troll designs from the 1970s.
