This vintage Norwegian troll figurine was produced by NyForm in Norway and is known as model 030, often referred to as the “Dancing Girl” or “Troll Girl”. The figure shows a playful troll lifting the edges of her dress as if spinning in a small dance.
NyForm trolls are handmade in Norway using natural latex derived from rubber tree sap together with other natural materials. Each figure is individually molded and hand painted, meaning no two trolls are exactly alike.
This charming design dates from the 1980s and reflects the classic NyForm style with expressive face, large nose and wild hair that give these Norwegian trolls their distinctive character.
