Acquired from a dedicated Norwegian camera collection, this XA3 is a true cult classic, offering the famous clamshell design and a sharp Zuiko lens in a pocket-sized package. This unit was discovered as a local estate find in Norway.
Designed by the legendary Yoshihisa Maitani and manufactured in Japan during the 1980s (Serial Number: 1013850), the XA3 is prized for its ease of use, featuring automatic exposure with a +1.5 EV backlight compensation, DX film speed coding, and zone focusing. This set includes the matching A11 electronic flash and a distinctive red soft pouch.
The camera is in vintage condition and has been battery tested: the shutter releases and the A11 flash fires. The battery compartment is in okay condition with normal wear for its age and no signs of leakage.
