Vintage Lisa Larson Lilla Zoo Cat Figurine - Gustavsberg Curled Stoneware Cat, Swedish Mid-Century Design
$345.00
A vintage curled cat figurine designed by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg, Sweden, from the Lilla Zoo collection.
This low, rounded cat rests with its paws tucked beneath its body and its tail wrapped around the base. Dark stripes sweep across the warm reddish-brown stoneware, while a pale glazed face highlights the outlined eyes, small nose and whiskers. Cream and gray glaze accents continue along the back and tail.
The combination of softly modeled form, textured clay and expressive decoration makes this a distinctive example of Swedish mid-century animal design.
