Vintage Norwegian Glass Fishing Float Table Lamp - 1970s Folk Art, Green Glass Nautical Decor
$380.00 $475.00
A distinctive Norwegian folk art table lamp made in the 1970s by an artist from Brevik, Norway, using antique Norwegian glass fishing floats dating to approximately the 1910s.
The pale green glass spheres form a sculptural cluster beneath a cream-colored bulb holder. Bubbles, variations in the glass, and the floats’ circular sealing marks give the lamp its individual character. The transparent construction reveals the connections and wiring, combining maritime materials with an inventive decorative form.
A characterful piece for a coastal interior, a collection of fishing memorabilia, or a room featuring Scandinavian vintage design.
