This rare serving plate was produced by Porsgrunn Porcelain in Norway between 1911 and 1935. It features a beautifully detailed hand decorated design with flowers and a vibrant bird motif, reflecting early 20th century Norwegian porcelain craftsmanship.
The decorative composition and fine brushwork give the piece both elegance and historical presence. It works well as a display plate or as part of a curated Scandinavian porcelain collection.
The plate has an old traditional repair using pins and glue, executed in the classic historical method and clearly visible. Apart from this repair, the porcelain is in good vintage condition with no peeling or additional cracks. A distinctive and collectible example of early Porsgrunn production.
